I get the wrong USB driver (iMac OSX 10.11 El Capitan). My board is UNO with USB driver chip MEGA 16U2. As I connect the board to the computer and start Arduino-software (IDE 1.6.5) I get USB driver: /dev/cu.usbmodem1D11 This driver does not work. As I used also my laptops in my laboratory at school (Macbook Air OSX 10.11 El Capitan), they work. The open-source Arduino Software (IDE) makes it easy to write code and upload it to the board. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The environment is written in Java and based on Processing and other open-source software. This software can be used with any Arduino board. Refer to the Getting Started page for Installation instructions. Windows 10 pro loaded the driver right up plug and play on COM7 and the Arduino IDE set to the Nano programmed the first one right up. I like the option of using or not using the included pin headers, great for integration into a larger project. Note: the FTDI USB Drivers are from Arduino. But when you install drivers for other Controllers, such as Xadow Main Board, Seeeduino Clio, Seeeduino Lite, you need to download corresponding driver file and save it. And select the driver file you have downloaded. The below dialog boxes automatically appears if you have installed driver successfully.
In the present situation there are so many technical products are available. And most of the people willing to develop more techno related products. So if you are a developer and need to develop things to control the physical world rather than the computer then the ideal one for you is Arduino. Yes this is an open-source platform used to build electronic projects. There are so many boards available in the Arduino, but if you newest to this then Arduino UNO software is suit to you. Yes this is the most used board for the starters.
Introduction about Arduino Software
Now you know that the Arduino is an open sourced electronic platform. And this is containing with a microcontroller (physical programmable circuit board) and an environment for coding software (Integrated Development Environment-IDE). Arduino has become most popular among the users programming. And also rather than the other programmable circuit Arduino, doesn’t required a programmer to load new codes in to the board. So you can use a USB cable and the Arduino IDE use a simple version of C++, so it making easy to learn about programming.
What is Arduino Uno Software?
Arduino Uno is the most recommended board for the people who are in the beginning level. Not only that this is the best choice among the other boards in Arduino for the both beginners as well as advanced users. The term Uno means “One” in Italian. And it has selected to mark the release of Arduino software (IDE) 1.0. Arduino Uno has everything you need to begin.
Arduino Uno board is consists with 14 digital output/input pins (6 can be used as PWM outputs), an ICSP header, an USB connection, 6 analog inputs, a power jack, 16 MHZ quartz crystal and a reset button. That mean it consists everything required to support the microcontroller. And you no need to worry about doing something wrong, only you need to pay few dollars then you can replace the chip and can start over again. To get start with Arduino Uno you want to simply connect to a computer with USB cable or power it with AC to Dc adaptor or battery.
How Arduino Uno differ from the other boards
When we compare with the other boards in Arduino family Uno do not use the FTDI USB to serial driver chip. Alternatively it use Atmega16U2 programmed as the USB to serial converter.
How Arduino Uno board power?
The board can be powered through USB connection or with an outside power supply. Power source has select automatically. And the external power supply can be use from a battery or an AC to DC adapter. The board can operate with 6 to 20 volts of external power supply.
Automatic reset of Arduino Uno board
Instead of a physical click on the reset button before an upload the Uno board designed to reset by software running on a connected computer. When you connected to a computer running Mac OS X or Linux, it reset each time a connection made to software. And in UNO board it contains a trace and that can be used to disable the auto reset.
As an open source electronic platform aiming easy to use hardware and software Arduino is a famed among many. There are Arduino boards to get inputs and turn them to useful outputs with all your instructions as it all controls through the microcontroller on the board. In that way Arduino is source of more new things which can be easily be consumed with starter kit instructions and also while sharing your ideas with the members of Arduino community. So here I thought of bringing some important facts about Arduino Uno, the flagship board for both beginners and advanced users together with the Arduino Uno Driver facts. If you too like to start with Arduino Uno, have a quick look at the roundup for a trouble free start.

Arduino Uno is the best recommendation for starters. In fact it is a front running board with easy consumption for both beginners and advanced users. So you only have to turn right Arduino Uno Driver to start easily with this supportive board.
Arduino Uno is microcontroller board built on the ATmega328 that includes 14 digital input/output pins. Among them 6 can be consumed as PWM outputs, 6 as analog inputs together with a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a power jack, a USB connection, an ICSP header, and also as a reset button. In fact it is easily operational by connecting via USB or powering with AC-to-DC adapter and also with the option with a battery. So that this can be powered via USB or else with an external power supply. For more Arduino Uno does not feature FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip like other boards in process but use Atmega16U2 up to version R2 as a converter of USB-to-serial. So thanks to its simplified and flexible interface this has been used in different projects with support through Mac, Windows, and Linux. So there Arduino Uno is easily manageable with the proper Arduino Uno driver installed more effectively than preceding boards.
Please Note: The board is operational with 6 to 20 volts, but the recommended number is 7 to 12 volts as more than that could damage the board
Connecting and Programming Arduino Uno
Arduino Uno connects to the computer through a USB which comes as the source of power and data to the board. And with the Arduino software you can program the board going on the path “Tools > Board” menu.
Arduino Uno Driver Install Windows/Vista/XP
Install Arduino softaware
Connect Arduino Uno and Install Arduino Uno Driver software
If not find Arduino Uno in device manager (you do not need these in Windows 10 as it compatible with Arduino drivers)
Double click and launch unknown Arduino Uno device
El Capitan Os X
Select “Update Driver” from Driver tab
